Porchlight and Bluewater

We were delighted to recently donate two laptops to Porchlight which was kindly facilitated via Mark Ball at The Bluewater Chaplaincy Team.

Porchlight strive for a fairer society where vulnerable people find stability, the most excluded are included, and where homelessness and poverty are things of the past.

George Cook, CEO of Computers 4 Charity said “We are delighted to help Porchlight, Kent’s largest homeless charity, by donating two laptops that could help homeless people to apply for jobs, benefits or housing. We would like to thank Mark Ball of the Bluewater Chaplaincy Team who kindly helped organise the meeting in Bluewater, as they support Porchlight by providing employment training opportunities for the unemployed and those returning to work. Computers 4 Charity received the laptops from Suzuki Cars UK who generously gave their unwanted laptops to our charity for refurbishing and donating to good causes”.

Reverend Mark Ball, Bluewater Chaplain who facilitated the handover said, "It's great to be part of the story bringing Computers4Charity and Porchlight together!"
